Scale and Expo!

This wasn’t actually as hard as I thought

All I had to do was tweak the scale plugin slightly to allow scaling over each viewport and then trigger the initiate callback inside of the expo plugin. Window picking was easy – we just use the expo plugin’s vertex inversion code and pass through the co-ordinates to the scale plugin to “terminate and select”.

This won’t make it into oneiric since we’re past Beta 2 freeze, but it will be become available as an option upstream soon.

    1. I haven’t combined them at a code level, but at least they interact together properly now. I am not sure what the plan is for P.

      1. Judging by https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/703804/comments/2 this is important functionality. If I’m not mistaken, unity-2d has a reverse delta here (i.e., it already implements this). I think this change will make its way into the P series as the default action when the Expo button in the launcher is pressed.. or depending on how stable this is at present, the reverse-delta might warrant a freeze exception for oneiric..

  1. I know this isn’t exactly … on-topic… But how, if that’s Oneiric, does you U1 control center have the nice looking button-switcher from the Natty version? My just looks like buttons right now.😦
